Bio

EMA            (she/her)

A multimedia studio artist and currently a student of Herron School of Art & Design at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). EMA is finishing up her BFA this May 2021, and will be receiving her degree in Integrative Studio Practices, focusing in photography and printmaking, with a minor in art history. 


EMA works with image making, creating an experience with the viewer, and various forms of collage. Her work is heavily influenced by pagan practices and spirituality, as she strives to create magick in connecting with those who view her work. She is quoted saying, “I want to be connected to others at a deeper level than physical, my art practice allows me to relate to others in that way. Creating interactive performances and encompassing collage brings an offering to the audience to see me at a spiritual level. I feel so deeply connected to this earth, bringing natural items and other tools into my work aids to enact the viewer's senses and create a unique experience for the viewer to connect to.”
